Synopsis (amazon)
Jacque Pierce was just an ordinary 17 year old girl getting ready to start her senior year in high school in Coldspring, Texas. When a mysterious foreign exchange student from Romania moves in across the street, Jacque and her two best friends, Sally and Jen, don't realize the last two weeks of their summer was going to get a lot more interesting. From the moment Jacque sets eyes on Fane she feels an instant connection, a pull like a moth to a flame. Little does she know that the flame she is drawn to is actually a Canis Lupus, werewolf, and she just happens to be his mate; the other half of his soul. The problem is Fane is not the only wolf in Coldspring, Texas. Just as Fane and Jacque are getting to know each other, another wolf steps out to try and claim Jacque as his mate. Fane will now have to fight for the right to complete the mating bond, something that is his right by birth but is being denied him by a crazed Alpha. Will the love Fane has for Jacque be enough to give him the strength to defeat his enemy, will Jacque accept that she is Fane's mate and complete the bond between them?
RATE 4/5
I did mention how much I love this series. However, I gave the first book a 4 out of 5 simply because the girls slang can be a bit overkill. In the book's following prince of wolves their slang is still there just toned down a bit. I love these character's, Jackie and her two best friends are witty, funny, and extremely loyal. You can see how these girls friendship is like they are their own pack. Jackie's best friends Jen and Sally are fiercely protective over Jackie and define what a true best friend is.
As Jackie discovers her new neighbor from Romania, Fane. She finds herself drawn to him and his voice in her head doesn't help her feel any less crazy. Fane is everything a wolf prince should be definitely yummy to look at and extremely protective. He is Alpha just under his father. After finding Jackie he will have to prove just how Alpha he truly is if he is going to protect his mate and other half of his soul. This series just gets better as it goes there are 8 total books in this series and once you start you have to finish who doesn't love a story that will make you laugh out loud while your family looks at you like your crazy and cry for the pain of characters. The Grey Wolves Series is not just a book series because these character's will get under your skin and become like friends to you. especially all the "fur balls" as Jen would say.
